This one Flickr hack will ensure you play by the rules

Flickr is a great resource for images, but when looking, choosing and downloading images from Flickr you need to be sure that what you are downloading is legally allowed for commercial re-use - even if you are a non-profit or an individual (rather than a company or business).

This one Flickr hack will ensure you play by the rules...

Choosing the 'Commercial use allowed' option in Flickr

Choosing the 'Commercial use allowed' option in Flickr (marked with the red box above) filters the results to images that the authors have marked as free for commercial use, which means you can use them in any way you want, even if it is for a money making project, service or product.

One thing, if someone lets you use their great imagery for free it's only polite to give them a credit or shout, like we do with every article we publish on our blog.

I hope this Flickr hack has been helpful!
